Beetroot Golden - Golden beets are simply a beet variety lacking that vibrant red pigment. They are bred to be golden in colour, which is a wonderful thing for this beet lover who doesn’t like the mess. Golden beets and white beets are said to be sweeter and milder than their red counterparts.
Winter Squash - although called "winter squash," the natural season of these varieties of squash and pumpkins runs from late summer to mid-winter, with some varieties available year-round. There are several to choose from, from homey acorn squash to magical Cinderella pumpkins to charmingly shaped turban squash. We have a variety of recipes for winter squash if you would like some.
Pumpkin Jack O'Lantern - carving pumpkins are different to your average butternut or Kent variety. The ideal pumpkin for making a Jack-o'-lantern will have a bright orange exterior and a thin layer of skin. This makes it easier to cut into.
Broccoli Purple Sprouting - You eat the leaves and stalk as well, only discarding any really thick or woody stems. Eat as an accompanying vegetable to any main dish. Purple sprouting can simply be steamed or boiled. It can also be roasted.
Cabbage Savoy - is high in vitamin K, vitamin C and fibre. It's also a very good source of manganese, folate, vitamin B6, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids.
Turnip Golden -Goldana is an improved version of the popular Golden Ball variety. It is a fast-growing yellow turnip for spring and summer sowing. It's tasty and productive and beautiful to make soups with.
Brussels Brodie - Brodie reguarly comes in top for flavour in recent taste panels.. Good leaf and button disease resistance and holds well. Mild sweet, non-bitter, peppery taste
Romanesco broccoli has a similar but milder, sweeter, and nuttier flavour than both broccoli and cauliflower. This pleasing, mild flavour lends itself to a wide range of dishes and flavour combinations. The florets are dense, like cauliflower, but slightly more tender.
Any questions that you would like to ask regarding the vegetables, please do not hesitate to message me. We also have a wide range of flower seeds available.
